HOUSE OF FLY FISH CAMPS
Fish Camp is a straightforward and unassuming fishing-first style of trip, hosted by a handful of us at the House of Fly. Our Fish Camp experience is a little bit different than the traditional hosted/lodge trip. With our Fish Camps, we are inviting you along to what would otherwise be a group of us planning our own trip somewhere. This keeps the trip simple, affordable, and approachable for anyone. To put it simply, it gets you to some fishy destinations at a lower rate. We will still hire the guides, find local accommodations to stay at, cover the meals, and organize the logistics around getting everyone there and having a good time.
TEXAS REDFISH CAMP
Centrally located in South Texas, Rockport has become one of our favorites for stalking coastal reds. It hosts a seemingly endless amount of grass flats and mangroves to pole through and provides close-range shots at redfish that just about any skill level can make. If this is your first trip to the coast, this is a perfect trip to start with. You should have many opportunities to land a fly near fish.
MISSOURI RIVER TROUT SPEY CAMP
What makes this Fish Camp extra special? It’s on our home water, Montana’s Missouri River, where we cut our teeth with trout spey. And we’ll host you in our own eclectic fishing lodge, pairing you each day with the same guides we fish with. Each evening you’ll enjoy themed dinners built and served by our incredible chefs and wait staff. We’ll take care of everything—guides, food, lodging, and logistics—so you can just show up, fish hard, and enjoy the experience. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone taking a deep-dive into trout spey, whether you’ve previously felt the tug on steelhead water or are picking up a two-hander for the first time.
BAHAMAS BONEFISH CAMP
South of the hallowed flats of Andros Island and nearly parallel with Cuba lies Long Island, Bahamas. Long Island is known for its large wadeable flats, quantities of bonefish, and the realistic chance of hooking a double-digit bonefish. If you look at it on a map and find Deadman’s Cay on Long Island you will quickly see the expansive flats that lie between the island of Exuma, Bahamas (also known for large sized bonefish) and Long Island. Deadman’s is just a few minutes from the airport on Long Island which is accessed by first flying into Nassau, Bahamas.
PUERTO RICO TARPON CAMP
Situated approximately 1,000 miles southeast of the southern tip of Florida, Puerto Rico offers year-round access to mind bending tarpon action and a number of productive flats for pursuing tailing permit on foot. While staying in Boqueron, we'll be guided by a small operation hosting no more than six anglers each week. This trip is tailor-made for anyone who enjoys immediate access to productive saltwater angling, with comfortable accommodations and an immersive cultural experience added to the mix.Â
PERLA NEGRA PERMIT CAMP
Join House of Fly at Perla Negra on an incredible adventure into the remote bays and backcountry of Mexico’s Espiritu Santo Bay to experience some of the greatest shallow water sight fishing in all of Latin America. If you have been wanting to fish in an amazing wilderness lagoon and experience fishing on the flats for Permit, Tarpon, Bonefish, Snook, Cubera Snapper, Barracuda, and more… Then this is the trip for you.
